Some Best Dressing Hacks for Women
Clean hair and nails, moisturized skin, and light makeup (if you like makeup) go a long way towards making a woman look stylish and put together. Other important considerations include taking good care of your teeth, wearing deodorant and a light perfume, and wearing sunscreen.

2. Avoid fast fashion - Clothes from fast fashion stores may look trendy, but they are cheaply made and go out of style quickly. In addition, garment workers are paid very little and work under poor conditions. Avoid the brands seen below.

3. Choose simple accessories - Simple necklaces in gold or silver, pearl or stud earrings, classic watches, and nice scarves can add more interest to your outfit without being overpowering or drawing too much attention.

4. Invest in high-quality, classic pieces - Rather than constantly chasing trends, buy fewer pieces and spend more money on each piece you buy. Overall, you can spend less money in total, but end up with great pieces that will last you for years. For example, instead of selecting a trendy shirt that you’ll hate next year, buy a classic, timeless style in a better fabric and cut. This shirt might be more expensive, but you’ll get much more use out of it in the long run. Don’t know what to buy? See tip 7 below.

5. Maximize versatility - When selecting a new garment, always consider how many different ways you can wear it. Ask yourself: Does this item match with at least three other items I already own? Can I wear this item to multiple types of events (work, parties, dates, casual wear, etc)? Can this item be easily dressed-up or dress-down? If yes, the garment is a great choice.
6. Get a good haircut or style - Decide how much time you want to spend on your hair. Do you enjoy straightening, blow-drying, and styling your hair everyday or are you more of a wash-and-wear type of person? Get a cut that looks good given how much effort you want to put in as well as your hair type and texture.
7. Look at Pinterest and fashion blogs for style inspiration - Browse Pinterest and blogs for style ideas. Create a Pinterest board for images that fit your personal style. Find common themes and items repeated across your images and start investing in pieces like those. Below is snapshot of my Pinterest style board.
